PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2K Metal Cleaner is an inhibited rust/scale remover and metal brightener.  It will remove heavy rust and patina deposits in 5 to 20 minutes depending on concentration, but will not etch or dissolve the metal itself.  Extremely effective and non-staining on cast iron, steel, colored metals and stainless steel.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

2K Metal Cleaner may be used at full strength for severe deposits or diluted up to 50% for lighter cleaning applications.  Fill a plastic container with water and add 2K Metal Cleaner slowly with some agitation – NEVER add water to strong acid.  Place metal item in the tank until desired finish is acquired then remove and rinse well.  Scuff pads may be used to expedite the cleaning.  Dry thoroughly to prevent flash rusting.  Apply patina within 30 minutes.

Note:  2K Metal Cleaner is normally used at room temperature, when heated it becomes more active and may etch some metals.

CAUTION

2K Metal Cleaner contains Hydrochloric and Hydrofluoric acids.  Handle with caution, especially when concentrated or heated.  Rubber gloves, protective clothing, and safety glasses should be worn when handling or working with this product.  KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!  Read MSDS before using.

Note:  ALWAYS add 2K Metal Cleaner to water.

STORAGE

Product should be stored indoors in original closed container. To prevent contamination of the solution, used product should not be introduced back into the original container.
